A year ago, I was so ignorant that I did not even know how to copy-and-paste. I did not know what net income and gross profit were or what a profit cycle meant. BUT...

Great read on the building of an American empire

This summary was a very interesting look into how a family business became an American household name brand. What I found most intriguing were the details of how Bassett managed to maintain their business in the face of the extinction of American made products in favor of cheaper goods made in China. This book is great for the small business owner or anyone that has an entrepreneur spirit, there is much to be learned from the Bassett family business history.
