Tony Robbins states that clarity is power. What does that mean? It means that you will never achieve what you believe you desire without getting clear on exactly what you want. Just thinking you want to be wealthy is not enough. What exactly do you want to do to become wealthy? What does wealthy even mean to you?

Setting goals is the number one way to get what you want in life. They force you to define the actions you need to take in order to achieve the goals you set. Personally I was lost for years thinking I wanted one thing only to discover I was failing because I had set the wrong goals. They were based on what I thought I needed to do to become wealthy. Not what I was willing to do.

Once you discover what you are not willing to do, you can create the path you are passionate about taking to find wealth. You do not need to be Bill Gates, Tony Robbins or Donald to be rich. There are very rich people out there that you will never hear about because they didn’t want to be publicly known, but they did want to be wealthy.

Action Takers Are Money Makers

As previous commenter noted, nothing new here. Not putting it down, there's actually nothing new under the sun, but this vehicle was nicely packaged and made a decent impact on me, especially the chapter about limiting belief systems. That alone made it a 5 star book.

It will change how we view ourselves, consequently, how Others view and interact with us as well. I further assert that A.C.E. allows for deep introspection for Black Americans who have internalized the Oppressive message, indirectly or directly, subconsciously or consciously. I also argue that A.C.E. also allows for "racist" liberation for White Americans, by offering a new way to address and understand "White Guilt, White Privilege and Entitlement," that is transformational. Through the prism of A.C.E., we can all move toward creating an ideal world of mutual respect and love of one another as well as compassion and empathy. About the Author
Josh Newell has worked for and with Friends of the Earth since his graduation from Brown University in 1991. He organized tours for Friends of the Earth-Japan to some of Asia's wildest places. In 1994 he moved to Vladivostok, where he began his work gathering data about the Russian Far East for the RFE Biodiverstiy Hotspot Study. From 1996-1999, Josh divided his time between Vladivostk and Tokoyo working as a consultant for various U.N. agencies, Japanese government agencies, and charitable foundations. He also represented Russian and Japanese environemental concerns at the 1997 Kyoto Climate Change Conference, the 1999 World Trade Organization Ministerial in Seattle, the annual G-8 meetings, and other forums. He received his master's degree in goegrahy in 2002 from University of Washington, where he is now completing his doctorate.

Josh Newell's THE RUSSIAN FAR EAST is a reference book that belongs in the library of anyone interested in this part of the world. Its contents represent several years of research by a wide range of experts on the Russian Far East, making it a highly useful resource not only for scholars and academics, but also for people working in the media, international businesses, governmental agencies, and NGOs.

After the first chapter presenting an overview of the entire region, the remaining 10 chapters are devoted to the individual political-administrative divisions of the Russian Far East, with information on the location, size, climate, flora, fauna, largest cities, population, political status, natural resources, main industries, infrastructure, foreign trade, economic importance, and general outlook for the future.

A real strength of this book is that individual sections and essays were written by more than 90 specialists from Russia, the USA, and the United Kingdom--on such topics as ecology, biodiversity hotspots, the economy, sustainable development, legal issues, and indigenous peoples. And the authors of these sections do an admirable job of maintaining a balance between official Russian statistics and other information likely to be more accurate. They recognize that such factors as "widespread corruption" often distort official statistics, as does intentional misinformation by public and private sources following their own particular agendas.

Not only is this book fascinating to read, it is also very well designed to display massive amounts of diverse information in ways that make that information easily accessible to the reader. More than 50 maps, some of them in color, provide excellent cartographic references for the topics covered in the text. Eighty clearly drawn charts, graphs, and tables present statistical and comparative data related to the individual essays in the text. And numerous photographs give the reader a sense of the land and people, plants and animals, that make up the Russian Far East.

The Russian Far East is the most biologically diverse area of the largest country on earth, but it is also perhaps the least well-known area of the planet with regards to both conservation and potential development. This reference guide has become at once THE essential document for all who address the treasures and perils of the region. The volume presents an overview of the region and important historical, environmental, and political themes, then addresses each political sub-division of the Russian Far East separately and concisely. Starting in the 1990’s, the companies asked state regulators to grant rate increases and tax perks to pay for replacing the existing, utility copper wires connected to homes and offices, (and schools and libraries), with a fabulous fiber optic future. Though it varies by state, by 2014, over $400 billion was collected, charging you thousands of dollars for services you never got. Alongside this, in 1995, the cable companies cut a deal with the FCC called the “Social Contract” to charge customers for network upgrades and the wiring of schools. While the Contract expired in 2001, the companies never stopped billing and collected about $50 billion extra and there’s no evidence that the schools were wired. And we were all charged about 9 times to wire America's schools & libraries. Adding insult to injury, Congress passed the Telecom Act of 1996, opening the networks to give customers a choice of ISPs and even cable providers. But, by 2005, the FCC reversed this ‘right’, creating Net Neutrality issues. Also, the FCC allowed the companies to consolidate power, leaving a trail of broken promises from the mergers that created AT&T, Verizon and Centurylink. Broken Promises also details what to expect from the AT&T-DirecTV and Comcast-TWC mergers. In order to keep control, the companies have an army of fake consumer groups (astroturf), paid-off politicians, corporate-funded stink tanks, co-opted non-profits, all coordinated by massive skunkworks networks that use disinformation campaigns. About the Author
Bruce Kushnick is one of America’s leading telecommunications analysts and one of the most controversial. If you have used a touchtone phone over the last three decades, odds are he had something to do with it. In 1982, Kushnick predicted that the addition of new technologies would change the way America communicated and he helped to develop numerous services that are now commonplace. As senior telecom analyst for IDC’s Link Resources, he wrote some of the seminal research reports that heralded in the “Interactive Age”. In 1992, he helped to roll out the first three digit information service, “511”, which is now common in many US cities. But in 1992, a visit to his Aunt Ethel’s home made him realize that his clients (that would become AT&T and Verizon) had a dark side. He founded New Networks Institute, (NNI) to document and expose the companies’ plans and excesses. For example, America should have been the first fully fiber optic-based nation as customers paid over $400 billion extra in rate increases and tax perks by 2014 . Instead, the companies diverted funds to overseas investments or the executives’ compensation. In 2002, Kushnick helped to create Teletruth, a telecom advocacy group. Teletruth was a member of FCC Consumer Advisory Committee and helped to create proposed legislation, the Broadband Bill of Rights, a precursor to the Net Neutrality rules. And over the last decade, Teletruth’s phone bill auditing services has led to multiple, successful class action suits and major refunds for phone customers. In 2015, NNI and Teletruth have multiple, active complaints against the phone and cable companies at the FCC and state commissions. Kushnick’s books include $200 Billion Broadband Scandal, which was featured on Bill Moyer’s Emmy-nominated, The Net at Risk, and The Unauthorized Bio of the Baby Bells, with foreword by Dr. Robert Metcalfe (co-inventor of ‘Ethernet’). His work has been featured by almost all major US media outlets and blogs, from The New York Times and Washington Post to Ars Technica and Broadband Reports. Kushnick has had a lifelong addiction to sound and technology. He has a degree in music composition from Brandeis and was a special graduate student at both Harvard and MIT, combining artificial intelligence, psychology and music in a program that would become part of MIT’s Media Lab, not to mention working in MIT’s psychoacoustics labs. An accomplished composer and musician, Bruce has been playing the piano for 58 years.

Don't buy the Kindle edition. The "print replica" format is unreadable. I will be complaining to Amazon.

It may be unfair of me to rate this book, since I can't actually read it on my Kindle app. I only give a rating because Amazon forces me to choose a rating before I can leave my comment here. A low rating would be unfair to the author. My complaint is not with the book's content, but with the lousy format that Amazon has used to "publish" the book. The book is in "print replica" format, which means that the pages are just scanned images of the print version. The format is terrible, unreadable. The text is tiny. Unlike a "real" Kindle book, the book's font size can NOT be adjusted. The only method of making the font larger is to "pan and zoom," which does NOT re-flow text. You can only see a portion of a page at a time. Panning and zooming to read text is incredibly tiring and frustrating. I'm disappointed in Amazon for publishing a book in this LAZY format. They didn't even try. I wont ask for a refund, because I support the author and his cause. But, I will complain to Amazon about the lousy format.

This is a great book for those who don't know much about boards

Very informative, but still enjoyable to read. This is a great book for those who don't know much about boards. Hanberg lays out the basics with clear examples and explanations. Comprehensive enough to not leave you hanging, and simple enough for it to be a practical tool.

An easy-to-understand book that will help you to get things done

As Keith writes in his book,there are so many distractions for us today. In the first chapter he surprises us by quoting :
"Average employees uses a minimum of 15 hours every week attending emails."
Clearly things need to change if that is the case.
Perhaps the most significant change we can make is to follow Pareto's Law whereby 80% of what we achieve is done through 20% of our activities.

Unlocking that 20% will certainly help us to get things done.

Read this book over the course of an weekend.
I'm new to the GTD System and bought 2 other books on it, but this one is by far the most actionable and easiest to follow.
